1 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Rewire mobile application ("App") or visiting tryrewire.app (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App or Site.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services ("you" or "User").
2 Description of Service
Rewire is a personal wellness application that delivers personalised affirmations, mindset reframes, and daily reflection prompts designed to support mental wellbeing. The App uses an onboarding questionnaire to tailor content to your goals, preferences, and circumstances.
Rewire is a wellness tool — not a medical device, therapy service, or clinical treatment. Content in the App is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
3 User Accounts
Anonymous Profiles
Rewire creates an anonymous profile for you automatically when you first launch the App. No email address or social login is required to use core features. Your profile stores your preferences, streak, and personalisation data.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your App session.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 17 years old to use Rewire. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 17.
4 Subscriptions & Payments
Free & Premium Access
Rewire offers a free tier with limited daily access to content. Premium features, including unlimited access to all affirmation collections, customisation options, and advanced personalisation, require a paid subscription ("Rewire Pro").
Billing
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Your subscription auto-renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Prices are displayed in the App and are subject to change with notice.
Free Trials
If a free trial is offered, it begins on the date you activate the subscription. Unused trial time is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's standard refund process. We do not control Apple's refund decisions. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date.
5 Content & Intellectual Property
Our Content
All affirmations, copy, illustrations, design, code, brand assets, and other content in the App or on the Site ("Our Content") are owned by or licensed to Rewire. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Our Content without our prior written consent.
Your Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Feedback
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use that feedback for any purpose without obligation to you.
6 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or servers
- Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Scrape, mine, or extract data from the App or Site
- Resell or sublicense access to the App or its content
- Use the App in any way that could harm other users or third parties
- Circumvent or interfere with subscription enforcement mechanisms
7 Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice.
Affirmations and content in the App are for general wellness purposes only and do not constitute professional psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice.
8 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rewire and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $10.
9 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
Upon termination, your licence to use the App ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will survive.
10 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rewire is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
